Mary’s Center is a community health center serving over 60,000 people of all ages, incomes, and backgrounds in the Washington, DC metro area for over 30 years. With an integrated model of health care, education, and social services, Mary’s Center offers each participant individualized care on the path toward good health, stability, and economic independence.


One World’s mission is to transform students into writers with voice, knowledge, and purpose. Our vision is that all students become effective writers and communicators.


Founded in April 2016 with an all-parent governing board, PAVE is dedicated to creating an environment where the vision for education in DC is created with children and families, not for them. We aim to shift the dynamic so that communities and parents are partners in creating great schools.


Reading Partners has been part of the educational landscape in Washington, DC since 2010, when we first began placing community volunteers in low-income schools to help students master essential reading skills. Our one-on-one tutoring model empowers students to succeed in reading and in life by engaging community volunteers to provide individualized, personal attention to each student in our program.


FP was founded with a vision to create a safe family center for mothers to access a range of supports and be the best possible parents. Today, in partnership with The Family Place Public Charter School (TFPPCS), TFP offers high-quality adult English and workforce development classes for parents and early childhood education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. All of our educational efforts are supported by wrap-around case management services.
